Originally, I am from New Windsor in upstate New York. The Hudson River was our swimming pool and the surrounding area was our playground growing up. Hunting, fishing and trapping as teenager was our pass time. I was also a member of that elite para military organization (joke) The Boy Scouts. Though I now live and work in the United Arab Emirates, wife and four kids live in San Antonio Texas. I retired from the U.S. Army Special Forces in 1997 after 20 years of service. I am 59 years old. Though I try not to feel like it or look like it. 🙂 Work out and run regularly but I am not a Gym Rat. Since retiring I have been gainfully busy as a Security Consultant, Advisor, Instructor and a team member on many security projects in the Security Industry worldwide. I have lived and worked in many countries in Latin America, to include Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama, and Haiti as a member of the U. S. military and as a civilian. I do a lot of traveling and have also worked in Angola, Iraq and Afghanistan. I speak Spanish well enough to get me in and out of trouble. Working on learning French, Portuguese and in spite of myself I am picking up some rudimentary Arabic.
